Very Good

The compact but sufficiently equipped kitchen, loved that they had a washing machine in-room complete with gel detergent. Lots of thoughtful extras too like hangers to dry them in the bathroon. Bathroom was fantastic. Good location too. Liked that staff were friendly enough but knew to leave us alone so we felt very much at home.

The TV only had a few channels and the sound system was pre-set to low volume which made having a TV pointless. And that there was no cleaning service.

Great location, great amenities, excellent experience. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room we had was absolutely amazing, one of the best experiences I have had in Kyoto. Definitely would stay with them again.

Very large and nice room!

The room was absolutely massive! I got two beds, a large TV, a large sofa, microwave, fridge freezer, hob, washing machine. The bathroom was also massive, i got a Japanese style bidet toilet, a bath and a shower. More than adequately sized for myself and very nice room, the beds were very comfortable. I also had good air conditioning and heating and WiFi in my room. There was a nice view from my window. Check in was very easy, there was no staff at the front desk, as i got there late in the evening, so i just collected my key from the locker and followed the instructions from the email i received. When i checked out in the morning the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! Overall a good stay, would reccomened!

The room had a kinda creepy haunted vibe to it, it was a bit scary. I also had to pay 200 yen room tax after checkout. I would've preferred if this was included in the original price to save any unwanted surprises.

Great Location for the quieter Gion

Everything else! Location, the food options available just round the corner, the many 24hr convenience stores also just round the corner.

1. Unable to do over the counter bookings. Only possible thru 3rd party reservation sites. Not possible to add pax to your current guest list. 2. A wee bit far to drag your bags from a train station.

Delightful accommodation in a fascinating area.

Friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable room which worked well when our son joined us for two nights. Very useful to have the use of a washing machine.

Perhaps some bedside lighting would have been nice. There was nowhere to put our clothes which remained in our suitcases (this seems to apply to Japanese hotels generally).

The property was clean, comfortable, well appointed. Its location was great, down a quiet side street but close to the heart of Gion. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. Couldn't be happier.

Minor things - no bedside lights (this seems to be a cultural thing as we didn't find them in any of the places where we stayed in Japan).

I want to come back soon.

The room was perfect for three of us. Being able to make our own coffee and eat a little breakfast in the room was very relaxing. The laundry facilities in the room were very welcome. Explanation on how to use all the technology was perfect. The shower pressure and temperature was great. The beds were so comfy and the duvet light and cozy. We had three nights and I would come back I. A heartbeat. Thank you to Hayami for helping me find out when to go to the doctor for my cold. The team who work here a wonderful- it feels like a home!

Nothing- because a view is not important but comfortable sleep and breakfast is.

Great self-contained apartment in heart of Kyoto

Perfect self-contained apartment in the heart of Gion. 6 minutes walk from subway and 3 minutes to buses. Washing and drying facilities in the apartment. Very clean and modern. Staff were very helpful and helped us fill in luggage transfer forms and even escorted us to the shop where our luggage was being sent back to Tokyo. Would highly recommend this apartment for a couple or a family with 1 or 2 children as sofa bed was perfect for our daughter. Lots of information available, locker and instructions for self check in in evenings. Very similar to AirBnB.

Location was great - in a quite street but extremely close to two train stations, many attractions and plenty of restaurants.

The hallways had an awful smell permeating - like a chemical cleaning product.

Quick but very nice. The room we had would be great for a family as it was very large.

The gentlemen who helped us were wonderfully helpful. Because it was my Birthday, they let us book early - a huge plus when you have luggage to drag around.
